Meetings are where most decisions and promises are made out loud and then forgotten. Fivo's meeting assistant joins your calls, writes a report and feeds what it learned into the Brain.

How the assistant joins

Fivo can join Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams calls. There are two ways:

  • Manually: add the meeting link from the Home screen and the assistant joins that call.
  • Automatically: connect your Google or Microsoft calendar in Integrations and the assistant joins your scheduled calls.

With a calendar connected, you choose a join mode: join all calls (recommended), join only meetings you created, or join only meetings you add manually. Change it in your meeting preferences or from the upcoming events settings on Home. The assistant announces itself on the call.

To stop the assistant from joining, set the mode to manual or disconnect the calendar.

Recording without a call

You can also record in-person conversations and other audio from the Home screen with Start Recording. The result is a report like any other.

Importing past calls

If you recorded calls before Fivo with Fathom or Fireflies, you can import them so the graph starts with history instead of from zero.

What a report contains

After the call Fivo produces:

  • A transcript.
  • The recording with timestamps.
  • An AI summary.
  • Chapters: the topics discussed, in order.
  • Tasks and action items, assigned to the speaker who took them when possible.
  • The list of participants.

You can chat with the report: ask what was decided, who said what, or what to follow up on. Tasks appear both inside the report and on the Home screen. See Tasks and commitments.

Email recaps

After each processed meeting Fivo can email a summary. You choose who receives it: only you, everyone on the invite, or nobody. This is set in your recap settings.

Who can see a report

If the assistant joined through your calendar, every participant of the event gets access to the report by default. If you added the link manually, only you do. You can change access from the report page, and you can add a report to a space so a whole team sees it. See Spaces and members.

Access to the report is also access to its facts in the Brain. Someone who cannot open the report does not see what came from it in the graph.

How a report feeds the Brain

Each report becomes a document in the graph. Fivo extracts the people who attended, the decisions taken, the commitments made and the topics raised, and links them to the companies and projects they concern. A promise made on a call becomes a commitment with an owner, a date and the report as its source.

When you connect the Brain for the first time, Fivo processes your existing reports, most recent first, up to your plan's limit. New reports are added as they are produced. Editing a report later (title, notes, participants) is picked up, and significant edits are re-processed.

Reports in your AI

Over MCP, your assistant can search reports by text or meaning, read a report's summary, chapters, tasks and participants, and page through its transcript. It can also ask what the Brain learned from a given report. See Questions your AI can answer.

Tips

  • Connect your calendar before anything else. The graph starts building from your next call.
  • Let the assistant join internal meetings too. Standups are where blockers and duplicated work show up.
  • Share reports to a space rather than person by person when a whole team should see them.
  • meetings
  • reports
  • recording
