monday.com boards track what moves and who moves it. Connected to Fivo, their items and the conversation in their updates feed your graph, and your meetings can create items on the board you choose.
What it adds to your Brain
For each board you choose, Fivo reads its items: the item name, the text of its long-text columns as body, and the status, people, date, priority and tag columns as the item's state. It also reads each item's updates and the replies to them, with their authors.
Fivo also writes. A meeting report becomes an item on the board you chose, in the group you picked, with the report posted as an update on it. Action items become items with their description as an update. When an item Fivo created changes a column (status, person, date), gets a new update or is deleted in monday.com, the task in Fivo updates. monday's default labels are understood: "Working on it" becomes In Progress and "Stuck" becomes Blocked. See Tasks and commitments.
Example question your AI can then answer: "What is stuck on the Q4 campaign board, and what did the team say about it?"
Before you start
- A monday.com account with access to the boards you need.
- Organization scope requires the organization owner. See Connect your tools.
Step by step
- Open Integrations in app.fivo.ai and find monday.com.
- Click Connect. monday.com opens its authorization page. You approve permissions to read your profile, read and write boards, read workspaces, read and write updates, read users, and read and create webhooks.
- Back in Fivo, open the integration's Configuration and choose:
- Workspace (optional): filters the boards offered.
- Board: where reports and tasks will be created.
- Group (optional): the group of the board to create items in.
- Save.
- To feed your graph, go to the Brain view, connect monday.com as a source and pick the boards to read. Fivo lists every active board in your account, named after its workspace.
What happens next
Fivo reads each board newest-first within the history window of the source, then re-reads on a regular schedule. When you send tasks, Fivo registers webhooks on the board: from then on, new items and new updates on that board reach your graph as they happen, and column changes, updates and deletions of the items Fivo created sync back to Fivo immediately.
monday.com tells Fivo who can read a board. With organization scope, a board's facts are visible to its owners and subscribers (including team subscribers); a public board, or one subscribed by the "everyone" team, is visible to the whole account. See Permissions: what your Brain can see.
Disconnect
Open Integrations, select monday.com and click Disconnect. To stop reading while keeping sharing, use Remove from graph in the Brain view.
Troubleshooting
- Reading slows down or pauses. monday.com limits API complexity per minute and per day. Fivo treats those limits as a pause and continues later; nothing is lost.
- Items have no body in the graph. An item has no description of its own; Fivo uses its long-text columns. Boards without a long-text column contribute the item name, state and updates only.
- A status change did not update the task in Fivo. Fivo maps the label text to its statuses. Custom labels it does not recognise are ignored; "Done", "Working on it" and "Stuck" are understood.
- Changes do not reach Fivo at all. Webhooks are registered when tasks are sent. Send tasks again from a report, or reconnect.
