What the Brain knows

Entities, facts, sources and commitments: how Fivo turns meetings and tools into a graph your team and your AI can query.

The Brain is the knowledge graph Fivo builds for your company. It is not a copy of your documents. It is what Fivo understood from them, organised so that a question can be answered with a few facts instead of a pile of text.

Entities

Entities are the things your company talks about. The main types are:

  • People: colleagues and external contacts. Fivo merges the same person across tools, so the "Juan" on a call, the "@jgarcia" in Slack and the "[email protected]" in email are one node. See how in Permissions.
  • Companies: clients, prospects, partners, suppliers.
  • Projects and topics: what people work on and talk about.
  • Decisions: what was decided, by whom and when.
  • Commitments: who promised what, to whom, by when, and whether it was kept. See Tasks and commitments.
  • Tasks, meetings, documents, tickets, deals and risks also appear as nodes when a source provides them.

Each person and company can have a brief: a 360º dossier that gathers everything the graph knows about them. For members of your team there is also a member card with their meetings, tasks, companies and topics.

Facts

A fact is a relationship between two entities with a date: "Marta signed the Nordvik renewal on 12 January", "SSO-241 is waiting on the Platform squad", "Laura promised the revised mockups on the 12 Sep call".

Every fact carries when it happened and how confident Fivo is. The graph is temporal: it knows what still holds and what has changed. When a date moves or a decision is reversed, the old fact is not deleted; it is marked as no longer valid, and the new one takes its place.

Sources

Every fact points back to where it came from: a meeting report, an email thread, a Slack conversation, a pull request, a ticket, a CRM record. When Fivo or your AI answers, each line can cite its source, and the source links back to the original tool so you can open it.

A fact confirmed in two places (said on a call, then written in an email) has two sources. Nothing is duplicated: Fivo recognises the same fact arriving twice and strengthens it instead of repeating it.

Where it all comes from

  • Meetings: each meeting becomes a report with summary, chapters, tasks and participants. The report is a document in the graph. See Meeting reports.
  • Connected tools: email, chat, code, tickets, CRM, docs and support. Each is processed once, on the way in. See Connect your tools.
  • Your organization directory: who is on the team and their role, so every member is a known person from the start.

Building and status

When you first connect, Fivo builds the graph from your existing history, most recent first, up to your plan's limit. The AI Brain view shows progress per source and how many items were read. Afterwards new material is added as it arrives.

The Brain status tells you whether each graph is built, still building, frozen (readable but not taking new material, usually because the trial ended) or pending payment. It also lists coverage, freshness and blind spots: sources Fivo could not read. Check it before trusting an empty answer.

Two graphs, one answer

You have a personal graph (your email and anything you connect as personal) and, if you belong to an organization, a shared organization graph. When you ask, Fivo searches both and merges the results. In the AI Brain view you can switch between "Organization" and "Mine".

The daily consultant

On paid plans Fivo also walks the whole graph every day looking for what is quietly going wrong: overdue commitments, decisions with no owner, two teams building the same thing, an account that went quiet. These findings surface on their own, so nobody has to ask.
