Microsoft To Do is a personal task list, and this integration treats it as a destination: the action items Fivo detects in your meetings become To Do tasks, so your own list stays complete without retyping.
What it adds to your Brain
This integration does not read anything into your Brain. It writes.
- Action items detected in a meeting are created as tasks in the To Do list you choose, each with its title and description.
- The meeting report can be sent too: it becomes one task whose title is the report title and whose body is the report summary.
Tasks live in your To Do account from then on. Changes you make there do not come back to Fivo. See Tasks and commitments for how tasks work inside Fivo.
Because nothing is read, there is no new question your AI can answer from To Do itself. The tasks it sends are the ones your meetings already produced, which your AI already knows.
Before you start
- A Microsoft account with Microsoft To Do. Fivo signs in through Microsoft's standard consent page.
- Decide which To Do list should receive tasks. You can create a dedicated list in To Do first if you prefer.
Step by step
- Open Integrations in app.fivo.ai and find Microsoft To Do.
- Click Connect. Microsoft opens its sign-in and consent page. You approve permissions to read your profile, to read and write your tasks, and to stay connected without signing in again.
- Back in Fivo, open the integration's Configuration and choose the List where tasks will be created. Fivo lists the To Do lists of your account.
- Save.
- From a meeting report, share its tasks to Microsoft To Do. Each one appears in the chosen list.
What happens next
Each shared task is created in To Do immediately, under your account. If you share the report itself, a single task holding the summary is created too.
Nothing is synced back: completing a task in To Do does not mark it done in Fivo, and vice versa. If you want two-way status, use a tool that supports it, such as Jira, Linear, Trello, Asana, ClickUp or monday.com. See Connect code and project tools.
Visibility is simple: the tasks are in your Microsoft account and nobody else's. Nothing from To Do enters any graph.
Disconnect
Open Integrations, select Microsoft To Do and click Disconnect. Tasks already created stay in To Do; Fivo simply stops creating new ones.
Troubleshooting
- The list you want is not offered. Fivo lists the To Do lists of the account you signed in with. If you have several Microsoft accounts, disconnect and connect again with the right one.
- Tasks were created without a description. Only tasks with a description in Fivo carry a body. Edit the task in the report before sharing if you want more detail.
- The connection stopped working. Microsoft tokens can expire. Open Integrations and reconnect.
